Moreover, with recent reports suggesting that things have eased out between Newcastle boss Howe and Sporting director Mitchell, it is all well for the club.

Not to forget, following a mediocre transfer window, with the new Paul Mitchell failing to land Marc Guehi or Anthony Elanga in the Magpies camp, reports had circulated that things weren't going well between Eddie Howe and Mitchell. In fact, Howe's move to the English national team was rumored, considering the manager's frustration over such a signing window.

However, now everything feels fine as a few days ago, Howe had clearly declined any such rumors of him leaving Newcastle, and recently, things have mended between him and the club's Sporting director. As per recent reports from Newcastle insider Luke Edwards, both Howe and Mitchell have decided to put previous issues aside and focus on the club's next transfer window.

In fact, the club seems to be determined to have a much more active January transfer window.

While they couldn't capitalize on top deals like Marc Guehi this time, the club would try, and if interest reignites, Guehi could be seen in Newcastle colors. While much can't be said about Guehi's transfer, in particular, it seems certain that the Howe-Mitchell duo are planning to make the January window, a special one.
