Eddie Howe reflects upon the possibility of leaving the Magpies club for England
- Howe mentioned his thoughts regarding the possibility of joining England's national team soon.
- With the Premier League season back to its best and Newcastle thriving, Howe wouldn't bother to continue at the club.
Newcastle United have got to a significant start in the 2024/25 Premier League campaign. Having managed an impressive 7 points from their first three fixtures, the Magpies club has been doing it well recently. While a significant portion of the credit goes to the players, nothing can be taken from Newcastle's boss, Eddie Howe. Despite having a dull transfer window, the former Bournemouth manager has resurged a sense of success at the club.

Moreover, recently, Eddie Howe reflected upon the possibility of leaving Newcastle to become England's manager. While it is a much-known fact that since Spain defeated England in the Euro 2024 Finals and Gareth Southgate stepped down as the English boss, Howe has been considered for national duty. Moreover, given the manager's recent run, the possibilities had further resurfaced, to which Howe has replied.
Even though Howe has mentioned before that managing England would be his dream, the Newcastle boss replied,
""I absolutely love being Newcastle manager, and I'm very proud to do it. No part of me is thinking anything other than hopefully a long reign here.""

As clearly mentioned, currently, Eddie Howe isn't thinking of making a move, and despite being visibly frustrated with the club's signing window performance, he is set to lead the Magpies club for a few seasons at least.
Speaking further, Howe mentioned how the Saudi takeover has impacted the club in its own ways and that making progress from their existing situation regarding the financial rules seems difficult but not far. In the words of Eddie Howe,
""Of course, that impacts the ability to progress the club as quickly as maybe they wanted to. I don't think the dream dies necessarily; it takes a lot longer. We have got to build our revenue streams; that is the biggest thing.""

Moreover, Howe told me that this would be the club's focus in the next few years, and their dream is not over; it's just going to take a lot longer. Overall, Newcastle boss Howe seems set to continue with the Tyneside club without having double thoughts regarding his managerial future. Given the start the Magpies club has got, Newcastle fans would hope they carry the momentum forward, returning stronger after the international break.
