Newcastle player ratings vs Dortmund: A Champions League night to forget

Tino Livramento – 7/10. Don’t judge him for that one-on-one defending, it should’ve never been allowed to happen by his teammates. Throughout the match, Livramento played well and he made some exceptional bursts of pace.

Callum Wilson – 3/10. Came off at half-time after making no impact whatsoever in the first half. Unfortunately, Wilson didn’t get much service but he didn’t make any runs either. At least he’ll be fit for the weekend.

• SUB: Anthony Gordon – 5.5/10. Made an impact from the bench but ultimately, Dortmund weren’t going to let themselves concede in this match.

Joelinton – 5.5/10. Had a great chance to equalise at the start of the second half with a headed chance. Unfortunately he was under a bit of pressure and didn’t get it right in the end.
