Sean Longstaff – 4/10. I don’t think this one will go down well, but Longstaff didn’t have a great game out there tonight. It looked like he was run down, which is understandable given the injury crisis. On this occasion, it was a night to forget for Longstaff.

Joe Willock – 6/10. Played well both in wide and central positions. In his first Champions League start of the season, Joe Willock looked mature on the occasion. It looks like he’s finding his feet again after the injury

  • Lewis Miley – N/A. Was a great moment to give the young lad his debut in this competition, but it was too late for him to have an impact on the game.

Bruno Guimaraes – 6/10. Played well in the centre of the park. Particularly in the first half, his involvements on the ball helped to compose his teammates and saw off the relentless Dortmund pressure. In the end, though, he couldn’t contribute as much as he would’ve liked to unlock the Dortmund defence.
