Pundit Simon Jordan's claim about England's managerial role in favor of Newcastle United

It has been months since the Euro 2024 tournament ended and the new club season kicked in. However, while a lot has happened in these past few months, the dilemma of England's national team's future manager remains the same. After Gareth Southgate resigned from the post after a series of unconvincing performances with the Three Lions, there has been much speculation concerning Newcastle United for the managerial role.

Not to forget, one of the first and foremost candidates indicated for being contacted for the role was Magpies boss Eddie Howe. While the 46-year-old manager had expressed his dream to coach the national side one day, his move at the stage Newcastle United finds themselves in could have serious consequences. With the Magpies in their building phase, while aiming for a bright future, the club can't let go of manager Eddie Howe.

Although any such speculations had halted as Lee Carsley took in as the interim lead, things still don't stand certain about the managerial position. However, TalkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan holds an otherwise opinion, with him being rather confident for Carsley's future at the Three Lions. In fact, Jordan went on to say it would be astonishing if Carsley doesn't get the permanent role, mentioning,

Upon closely analyzing Carsley's tenure so far, the former Everton player has been quite good in the role, with 2 wins in 2 games so far. Most importantly, unlike Southgate, the manager has been showing great utilization of the brilliant talents the side possesses, distributing game time efficiently between star players. And that is what Jordan has been asking from the person in the role,

Clearly, manager Lee Carsley has stood out on the expectations of everyone so far, and as Jordan predicted, his turning to be the permanent leader of the side could be beneficial for England.
