In the first four Premier League matches, Newcastle United have taken three wins and a draw to start the new season on a high note. Moreover, Eddie Howe's side is currently third in the league table behind defending Champions Manchester City and level on points with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal. Although Eddie Howe's side has struggled in a few matches, they have managed to consistently take points as they are aiming to return to playing in the UEFA Champions League next season.

Meanwhile, in the Premier League, the Magpies will visit Fulham to face Marco Silva's side in the fifth matchday. While Fulham had to settle for a 1-1 draw with West Ham in the previous match with a last-minute goal, they have been one of the most improved teams in the Premier League since achieving promotion from the Championship two years ago. Moreover, Alexander Isak picked up an injury in the 2-1 win over Wolves and thus is highly unlikely to feature for Eddie Howe's side in this match.

Thus, lineup changes in the attack are expected, and 27-year-old forward Harvey Barnes could get a chance in the starting lineup after his match-winning goal against Wolves. Now, Newcastle United legend and all-time Premier League top scorer Alan Shearer has spoken about Newcastle United's lineup changes, saying,

"“We’ll see if Eddie decides to bring Harvey Barnes in from the start, which would be exciting to watch as a front three with Gordon and Isak, but Fulham are decent and upfront; they do have some quality now. I'll go for a draw.”"

Also, Shearer highlighted Fulham's impressive build play in the final third and suggested that Eddie Howe will have to put in a brilliant performance to take some points from this match. Now it remains to be seen whether the Magpies will continue their impressive momentum going against Fulham as well in the away fixture.
