This could be one of the most even games in the Premier League this season, as St James' Park will host Newcastle vs Manchester United. As Eddie Howe's side has the chance to go above Erik ten Hag's side in the table, here are 3 key battles which could determine the outcome of the game.

Battle #1 Kieran Trippier vs Alejandro Garnacho

On the Newcastle's right-hand side, it will be a battle between two of the most in-form players in the Premier League right now. While Kieran Trippier has been one of our best performers this season, he must remain focused and not get complacent since he'll have a tough time dealing with Alejandro Garnacho, who has been United's diamond in the rough this season. Certainly, this flank will make for an interesting battle, in both halves.

Battle #2 Alexander Isak vs Harry Maguire

Harry Maguire has also been in revolutionary form for Manchester United this season, as Erik ten Hag has really restored the confidence of the England international. Although, as we all know, Harry Maguire does have the potential to slip up and given the striker's instinct shown by Alexander Isak, this could be an interesting tale. If you give Isak one mistake to pounce on, you best believe he will pounce.

Battle #3 Bruno Fernandes vs Bruno Guimaraes

To get the cliche out of the way first, this match involves the battle of the Brunos. From a defensive standpoint, it will ve Bruno G and from an attacking stanpoint it will be Bruno F.

Both midfielders like to get stuck in and a lot of play runs through them respectively. With this in mind, we need to rely on Bruno G to man-mark Bruno Fernandes since whenever the Portuguese plays well, United tend to play well as a collective.
