Newcastle come up against Manchester United at home in the Premier League this weekend. After a tough draw away from home in the Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain, the fixture list doesn’t get easier for the Magpies, but this is a game that Eddie Howe will look at as a potential three points.

Here’s the Newcastle predicted lineup vs Manchester United…

Newcastle predicted lineup vs Manchester United

GK: Nick Pope - I don’t feel like I need to justify myself here. On the big occasion, Howe will ALWAYS opt for Pope between the sticks.

RB: Kieran Trippier - Again, this one feels like an obvious choice to me. Our best player this season and he played the entire match in midweek, but given his fitness levels (and the fact that our squad is depleted enough), KT will be available for this match.

CB: Jamaal Lascelles - Botman is still out injured, which means some more game time for the captain who is in great form. As a goal scorer in the last Premier League outing, he will look to have another good match against the United attack.

CB: Fabian Schar - Schar has been one of our most underrated players this season and without him, we could be in a seriously different position. He will start alongside Lascelles, business as usual for Howe.

LB: Tino Livramento - Played very well in both matches against Chelsea and against PSG, so he will get his third start on the bounce. Should Newcastle find themselves in a comfortable position, Hall will be available from the bench to rotate.
