Newcastle United linked with 18-year-old talent having better stats than Erling Haaland
- Newcastle is linked with 18-year-old Sindre Walle Egeli for their right-wing reinforcement.
- As per reports, Egeli might arrive for around £21 million, being a feasibly brilliant prospect.
Newcastle United's summer transfer window was a complete failure. With the club not being able to bring in their desired reinforcements, Marc Guehi for the center-back role and Anthony Elanga as a right-wing reinforcement, instead selling their prodigy Yakuba Minteh, it was yet another disastrous window for Newcastle.

In fact, the results of their transfer window performance have been evident directly in the club's results. Despite being off to a brilliant start results-wise, the club hasn't been very convincing, in particular on the right wing. So far this season, Jacob Murphy has been much off, not even performing to the level to fight for a place in the XI.
However, the recent reports on the club's approach to this problem have been impressive, suggesting Newcastle is tracking an 18-year-old prospect for the role. As Sporting Director Paul Mitchell has mentioned, for the need to search for global scouts, the club is being reported to be monitoring Norwegian sensation Sindre Walle Egeli as a future prospect.
Egeli, the 18-year-old versatile forward, has become a sensation, considering his better goal-scoring record at the youth level than PL superstar Erling Haaland. Similar to the Norwegian goal-scoring machine, Egeli is also a left-footed forward, having a hunger for more goals and the ability to shine in any role on the front line.
Being a right winger, by preference, the 18-year-old could be the next big prospect signing after Newcastle's hunt for Yakuba Minteh in 2023. As per reports from The Mail, Egeli is estimated to come at a price tag of around £21 million; however, Newcastle might be willing to spend that much willingly, considering he could solve the club's right-wing issues.
Even though further updates on the prospect's transfer move are yet to arrive, the Magpies club would want to secure the 18-year-old for their right wing. Given the talented youngster he is, much could be expected from him in the future if he arrives at the Tyneside club under the guidance of Newcastle boss Eddie Howe.
