Newcastle's Star forward reflects upon the club's 2024/25 campaign so far

Alexander Isak reflects upon Newcastle's 2024/25 campaign so far

Analyzing from Newcastle's perspective, the unit would be significantly happy to get off an impressive start in the new season. But still, the fact that the club's wins haven't come in a dominating fashion sounds a bit depriving.

Recently, star Newcastle forward Alexander Isak, who netted the winner against Tottenham, has reflected upon the club's overall performance in the new campaign. As has been evident, Eddie Howe's side has functioned well defensively, but a few improvements are yet to be made for their dream finish. While talking to Viaplay, Isak mentioned along similar lines, saying,

As mentioned, Newcastle's main concern has been to improve their forward play, making crucial chances and converting them into goals. While Isak looked worried about the unit's performance overall, he didn't hesitate to appreciate the club's gritty showcase in the 2-1 win against Tottenham. Isak said,

Overall, having scored a match-winner in the last game before the international break, Isak would join Sweden's national team with a good feeling. While the break is around two weeks, the Swedish forward would be willing to return to Newcastle soon, in rich form. As he has recounted, if Newcastle and he manages to improve on the offensive front, the Magpies club could certainly advance to the top spots this season.
