DM: Bruno Guimaraes (8.5/10) - This might be controversial but Bruno looked like the most passionate Newcastle player on the pitch in this game against Manchester City. He was battling hard for every lose ball and gave Rodri a run for the money in the midfield. In many occasions, he won the midfield battle against one of the best defensive midfielders in the world.

CM: Sean Longstaff (4.5/10) - There are talks around Newcastle that Eddie Howe might look to sell Sean Longstaff to make funds for new signings. And, after a performance like this, no one can argue about it with Eddie Howe. Longstaff was probably the worst Newcastle player on the pitch today as he was like a passenger showing no desire to win.

CM: Lewis Miley (6.5/10) - The 17-year-old youngster had a completely different performance from Longstaff. Looked like he knew his role and that is why he was disciplined in his game and helped the team with his defensive attributes as well as played a role in progressing the play. All in all, it was a very impressive performance from the youngster.
