Anthony Gordon has been one of our best players under Eddie Howe this season. Always proving to be a threat in the final third, he has really made the position his own in the absence of some players through injury. Certainly, he's become a real fan favourite for his work both on and off the ball, which is worthy of applaud enough but now the young Englishman has been given more reason to feel confident in his abilities.

Newcastle duo Eddie Howe and Anthony Gordon nominated for Premier League awards

As reported by Chronicle Live, both Anthony Gordon and Eddie Howe have been nominated for Premier League awards in the month of November. Anthony Gordon has been nominated for November player of the month and Eddie Howe has been nominated for November manager of the month.

From a Newcastle perspective, it's great to see two of our star men recognised for their efforts this month, as both have been influential in their own right. Anthony Gordon has scored some important goals and been involved in key attacking buildup in some of our biggest games this month. Meanwhile, Eddie Howe has done a stellar job at keeping us afloat and grinding out results during this injury crisis. This should not be overlooked.

November was a good month for us. Although we had that horror show against Bournemouth before the international break, we have done well to bounce back from that. Hopefully, the confidence accured in November will serve us well as he head in December with the busy fixture schedule. This would enable us to end the year on a high and set us on the right track to meet our objectives in the new year, which is just around the corner.
