Newcastle team news
It's no secret that Newcastle are carrying their fair share of injuries. Therefore, it's impossible for me to keep this Newcastle team news section concise, but I will be as concise as possible.
It doesn't start off great at the backline as Nick Pope is injured, meaning Martin Dubravka is more than likely to start. Furthermore, Jamaal Lascelles is injured and while it's not confirmed, Eddie Howe has hinted he won't play in this game, alongside Javier Manquillo and Matt Targett.
In the midfield, Sandro Tonali is suspended and therefore he is ineligible to play in this match. Joe Willock and Elliot Anderson are injured too, so they will out of action. In the attack, Jacob Murphy and Harvey Barnes will be missing from action.
In total, then, NINE players will be missing from action in this match.
Liverpool team news
The home side aren't short of injuries, either. In the defence, they are without a recognised left-back, as both Kostas Tsimikas and Andrew Robertson will miss this game with long-term injuries, as well as centre-back Joel Matip who is out for the season.
As per FotMob, three central midfielders are ruled out for Liverpool, with Stefan Bajcetic, Thiago and Alexis Mac Allister sitting out this match. In the attack, Ben Doak is injured so he won't play either.

Liverpool vs Newcastle score prediction
I try to be optimistic but I'd be lying if I said I can see a result for us in this game. If anything, I would happily take a point in this one, but that's quite an ask against this Liverpool team I'm going to predict Liverpool 2-0 Newcastle, but I hope I'm wrong.
