“Like a final” Luis Enrique warns Eddie Howe about PSG vs Newcastle
By Kian Long
Ahead of the penultimate Champions League group stage match, PSG vs Newcastle, Luis Enrique has sent a big warning to Eddie Howe.
Tomorrow is potentially the biggest game of our decade. Although we have played in cup finals and decisive Premier League matches in recent seasons, tomorrow seems like our biggest test yet as we travel to the Parc des Princes for the penultimate Champions League group stage match.
While we don’t NEED a win, it’s hard to imagine us making it out of the group stage without a win. Particularly if the other result in our group doesn’t go our way. With that in mind, it’s unlikely that we’ll see Eddie Howe roll over and hope for the best in the other game which is our of his control – Instead, he will field his strongest possible lineup and instill a sense of belief into the lads.

There are two sides to every story, though. While Newcastle will feel like they need to win, the home side won’t be complacent either. Speaking ahead of the match, the host manager Luis Enrique who knows what it takes to win this competition, has sent out a warning to Eddie Howe.
As per Get Football News France, Luis Enrique has called upon the fans of PSG to come to the match, which kicks off at 9pm local time, with plenty of passion. The Spanish boss has insisted that Paris Saint-Germain will treat this match like a final.
Bring it on, is what I say. Many say we are out of our depth but we mustn’t forget that we beat these lot comfortably in the home fixture. Playing away is a different kettle of fish, I am not delusional, but I know that Newcastle have proven everybody wrong time and time again. Hopefully, tomorrow night will be the same. Bring on the final.
