Newcastle predicted lineup vs PSG

GK: Nick Pope – Nick Pope has been one of our better players so far this season, particularly in the Champions League. On the big occasion, it will ALWAYS be him, with no offence to Dubravka.

RB: Kieran Trippier – He was one of our best players at the weekend against Chelsea playing in his natural position. Although the fixtures are coming thick and fast for him, there’s no better man for the job than KT. He will certainly look to make an impact in this one.

CB: Jamaal Lascelles – Got a goal at the weekend against Chelsea which was massive for the captain, inspiring us into a comfortable win in the end. He was subbed off early, which was no surprise given that Howe had this midweek fixture in mind.

CB: Fabian Schar – Schar has been one of our best players this season and given how well he played in the reverse fixture (including when he scored THAT goal), he will hope to have an impact in this match as well. Although, it’s always a tough ask coming up against Mbappe and co.

LB: Lewis Hall – The first bit of squad rotation from the weekend will see Lewis Hall come in to replace Tino Livramento, just providing some fresh legs in this depleted squad for Howe. Hall is always bursting with energy and this is a HUGE occasion for the loanee.
