Newcastle injury news – A big update on the Tino Livramento injury scare

Tino Livramento was involved in international duty for the England U21s this week. However, given that he was subbed off at half-time, this made many Newcastle fans nervous at face value. Certainly we cannot afford to lose another player as full-back, given the injury to Dan Burn which sees him out for a long time.

Thankfully, though, Geordie Boot Boys have pulled through. They claim that there is no sign of injury for Tino Livramento, indicating the decision to take him off was purely tactical. After all, he did start in the previous match for the England U21s and played the full 90 in that one.

Newcastle injury news – Miguel Almiron is fit for Chelsea match

Speaking on the Athletic’s podcast Pod on the Tyne, Chris Waugh has provided a telling update involving Miguel Almiron. The trusted reporter claimed that almost certainly, Almiron wouldn’t have played in this fixture if it were happening last week. However, he claims there is a chance that Miguel Almiron will feature in some capacity this weekend.

He adds that Almiron will “certainly” be in and around the squad for the match, hinting that he is fit and available for selection. Reporting on the Newcastle vs Chelsea preview, I included Miguel Almiron in my Newcastle predicted lineup since it seems certain from all the sources that he is available for selection and Howe’s strongest available option in this position.
