Newcastle will be without Bruno Guimaraes through suspension. However, Lewis Miley could step up for the Bournemouth vs Newcastle match.

You blink and you’ll miss it. That’s what it feels like this season as the fixtures seem to come one after another. Still, this is the price you pay when qualifying the Champions League and progressing in other competitions. I guess that’s the price of being excellent.

However, Eddie Howe will hope for some respite during the international break, which follows this weekend’s fixture. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, or actively avoiding negative news, then you’ll be aware of the ongoing injury crisis at St James Park. With many of our best players out, Eddie Howe must play Tetris with the starting eleven as he seeks squad rotation.

A Bruno Guimaraes injury isn’t a concern. However, he is suspended for this weekend’s fixture against Bournemouth away from home.

Luckily, Eddie Howe can rely on Lewis Miley. The youngster became the youngest ever player to feature for Newcastle in European competition in midweek, coming off the bench against Dortmund. It’s likely, then, that Eddie Howe has Miley in mind for this weekend’s Premier League fixture.

Geordie Boot Boys are calling for Lewis Miley to start in place of Bruno G, and I can certainly see why. The 17-year-old is showing plenty of promise and having impressed in pre-season, he gets along with his teammates. He is ready to step up for a Premier League start, which would be pivotal for his development.

In addition to this call, we have also included Lewis Miley in our Newcastle predicted lineup vs Bournemouth. Although it’s out of necessity, it will also be exciting to see the young lad given a chance to make a name for himself on a big stage.

Do you think Lewis Miley will feature in Bournemouth vs Newcastle?
