Newcastle transfer news – Eddie Howe targets Gabri Veiga from Al-Ahli

In a bizarre twist of events, it could actually be a player who moves FROM Saudi Arabia TO England. Usually, it’s the other way as we know.

According to a report by Fichajes, Newcastle are interested in signing Gabri Veiga, who left La Liga in the summer to sign for the Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli. During his time at Celta Vigo, he established himself as one of the finest wonderkids in the world, with a bright future ahead of him.

Turns out, the move to Saudi Arabia could remain temporary, as he would like to make a name for himself in Europe again. As an emerging talent, a move to Champions League side Newcastle could be of interest to the 21-year-old.

Newcastle transfer news – “Not a chance” Eddie Howe will join Manchester United

Last night, Newcastle beat Manchester United in the Carabao Cup but it’s been reported that United would get the last laugh by tempting Eddie Howe away.

Speaking on the situation, the former striker Gabby Agbonlahor has claimed there’s “not a chance” Eddie Howe would be convinced to leave Newcastle United to join Manchester United. The reason was that the finances behind him at Newcastle are too good and with the fans and players being on board with his project, Gabby said Howe would be mad to join United.

Certainly, I hope he’s right.
