Newcastle transfer news – Eddie Howe targets a THIRD striker

According to a stunning report by Shields Gazette, Newcastle have initiated talks with Brazilian centre forward Marcos Leonardo. The Santos striker is thought to be Eddie Howe’s answer to the injury crisis which is currently ongoing, with many of the Magpies front line out through injury.

Leonardo is thought to be valued at around £20m, so he could be an excellent and affordable addition for Eddie Howe when the January transfer window opens.

For the time being, against Manchester United tonight, Anthony Gordon is expected to start in the Newcastle lineup as their striker. This is due to Callum Wilson being rested for the upcoming Premier League fixture against Arsenal, with the England striker being prone to injury himself.

Newcastle transfer news – Radu Dragusin wants to play in England

A big boost for Eddie Howe as one of his January transfer targets has revealed it’s always been his dream to play in England. As per Sport Witness, Radu Dragusin’s mother has affirmed that her son, who is targeted by Newcastle, wants to play in England as this has always been his dream since he was a child.

It’s thought that the Magpies have been in contact with Radu’s agents over a potential deal, with a move set to favour all parties. From Genoa’s perspective, they are open to selling him.
