CM – Sean Longstaff: Another hero from the last Champions League match at St James. Longstaff was again amongst the goals at the weekend in the Premier League, so he’s in fine goal scoring form. Therefore, particularly with the Sandro Tonali investigation, it’s advantage Longstaff in the Newcastle predicted lineup.

CM – Bruno Guimaraes: He was the man of the match against PSG last time out in this competition. Struggling for form at the start of the season, this is no longer a concern since Bruno is back to his best. Big matches like this are the reason why he was signed.

CM – Joelinton: Joelinton played at the weekend, given the investigation involving Tonali. I assume, then, that Eddie Howe has him in mind for this match. Joelinton missed a large chunk of the season through injury but his appearances since returning, which included a match-winning assist against Man City, demonstrate why he was missed so much upon his injury.
