Sean Longstaff – 8.5/10

He was absolutely over the moon with his goal to seal off an excellent display from his team. Goal aside, Longstaff looked excellent all night as he controlled the midfield. Alongside two world class midfielders, Longstaff showed that we can breed them just as well in Newcastle.

Bruno Guimaraes – 9.5/10

Had a BRILLIANT first half until he tried to recreate a slasher movie towards the end. Other than that, though, what a performance from our Brazilian. He was key to the first goal, capitalising on a sloppy PSG pass and he thought quickly to find Isak.

This guy is absolutely flying since his slow start to the season. My man of the match in these Newcastle player ratings.

Sandro Tonali – 7/10

Played well and did everything he needed to do before being subbed off in the 65th minute. Some great passes and forward runs from the Italian kept everything ticking for Eddie Howe’s side.

  • SUB: Elliot Anderson – 7/10. The Geordie lad got his Champions League run out at St James Park. Definitely wasn’t shy of confidence either as he made some excellent forward bursts during his cameo.
