Newcastle United are looking to sign a winger. Manchester United also have the same requirement. Spanish winger Nico Williams is on the radar for both clubs.

Eddie Howe has had a horrible start to the season with Newcastle United losing 3 of their first 4 games of the Premier League season. Thus, it left many question marks on the team and players. Most fans are wondering can Eddie Howe replicate the magic he did last season by taking Newcastle back to the elite competition in Europe i.e. the Champions League. He needs players, especially, in the forward section. That is why Newcastle are looking for a winger. This situation is the same for Manchester United. After the allegations against Antony, he is sidelined for a while. Jadon Sancho has fallen out with the manager Erik ten Hag. So, he is out too. Thus, United will be looking to sign another winger to replace Sancho. That is why both clubs are eyeing the signature of the Spanish winger Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao.

Newcastle United and Manchester United both are in the Champions League and started the season in the worst possible manner. That is why it is important to act quickly for them in the January transfer window and get reinforcements in sooner. Otherwise, it could be a long season for both of them. Nico Williams seems to be an ideal addition to Eddie Howe’s team because of his dynamic play around the wing. The Spanish winger would cost around €30M which both clubs can pay. However, Athletic Bilbao was reluctant to sell the winger in the summer. It will be interesting to see whether Newcastle or Man Utd can tempt the Spanish side to sell one of their most important players.

Do you think Nico Williams will be a good addition to Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United?
