Newcastle United will look to end their two-match losing streak when they face Wolves today at St. James’ Park. With just three points separating Fulham and the Magpies, Steve Bruce’s side will be looking for a much-needed result at home.

According to the Action Network, Newcastle United are listed as slight underdogs in the match vs. Wolves. They are +245 to come up with a victory today. A win for NUFC would be the club’s first vs. Wolves since 2017. On the other side of the equation, Wolverhampton are +133 for a victory on the road. They are unbeaten in their last four matches, including three wins.

They have the draw set for +205, which is a solid bet as the last four Premier League matches between the two sides have ended level. Earlier this season, Jacob Murphy had to score a late equalizer to secure Newcastle a point on the road in a 1-1 draw.

Those odds for Newcastle are a welcome change from recent matches. They were +1050 underdogs against Chelsea and Manchester United. Obviously, both matches ended up with losses by two goals for NUFC on the road.

Based on the odds and recent history, this match should be a close one and likely a low-scoring battle. Unlike Wolves, who are comfortably mid-table, Newcastle desperately need a result later today.
