Watford vs. Newcastle United

  • Carson A. Merk: Win
  • Watford will likely be battling for their Premier League life and if they press the action, the Magpies can catch them on the break.
  • Durim Halimi: Draw
  • Games between these two sides are always close. Seeing that Watford will look to keep their head above water, I expect the Hornets to dominate the majority of the game, but the Magpies will find a way to earn an ugly, undeserved point late in this one.

Newcastle United vs. Tottenham

  • Carson A. Merk: Loss
  • The Magpies snuck past Spurs early in the season and I think that may be on the mind of Jose Mourinho’s side. Unfortunately, I don’t think this will go well for Newcastle.
  • Durim Halimi: Loss
  • Newcastle United stole three points in London, but Tottenham will bounce back in this game. Spurs have struggled without Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min, but the lethal duo is back and will get the job done at St. James’ Park.

Brighton vs. Newcastle United

  • Carson A. Merk: Draw
  • Newcastle just doesn’t do well vs. the Seagulls. They haven’t won any of their last five matchups and I don’t expect this to be the one they end that trend with.
  • Durim Halimi: Win
  • Graham Potter has done a decent job in his first season with Brighton, but they struggle with consistency. Without their supporters, Brighton is a team that will find it difficult to perform. Newcastle United are the better team and they will display their superiority with a big victory.
