Bournemouth vs. Newcastle United

  • Carson A. Merk: Win
  • Bournemouth are in a relegation position and struggled before the season postponement. Newcastle United should be able to get by the Cherries.
  • Durim Halimi: Loss
  • The Cherries and Magpies always seem to draw when they meet in the south coast, but  Bournemouth will come out blazing in this clash. Eddie Howe’s men have a nightmare schedule to conclude the season. In their eyes, Newcastle United will be their most lenient opponent.

Newcastle United vs. West Ham

  • Carson A. Merk: Win
  • Newcastle won a 3-2 battle earlier this season and I don’t expect them to be much improved. Steve Bruce’s side should take this one.
  • Durim Halimi: Win
  • Newcastle United fired three goals past West Ham in London and I expect a similar result on Tyneside. The Hammers have a difficult schedule to close out the season and they will be worn out when they face the Magpies. It’s worth mentioning that Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron ran wild on West Ham earlier this season.

Manchester City vs. Newcastle United

  • Carson A. Merk: Loss
  • Last season, Newcastle stunned Manchester City and they got a draw earlier this campaign. This one won’t go as favorably for the Magpies.
  • Durim Halimi: Loss
  • Like the rest of the Toon Army, I hope Newcastle United stun Manchester City in the FA Cup, but I don’t see them claiming points in league action. Defensive fatigue will surely catch up to Newcastle United by the time this game rolls around.
