Sack the board! Newcastle fans react to relegation to the Championship
Newcastle United have been relegated to the second tier of English football thanks to Sunderland’s win over Everton.
The Wearside team beat the Toffies 3-0 to confirm their Premier League status, and dump the Magpies and Norwich City down a division.
Despite beating Watford 4-2, the Canaries couldn’t do enough to survive their first season back in the top flight.

Magpies fans are now praying that Spanish manager Rafa Benitez will remain at the side, while also cursing the board for their incompetence.
