Newcastle United play Swansea City on Saturday at St. James’ Park in the Barclays Premier League.

The home side need to come away with three points if they are to entertain any notion of surviving the season and avoiding the drop to the Championship.

After the damaging defeat to Norwich City, the Magpies are still in second bottom – with only six games left to play.

The Swans are in good form, winning two and drawing one of their last three – including an impressive victory against Chelsea, and cannot be taken lightly.

After sacking manager Gary Monk, their form has improved and they are now clear of the relegation battle – and envious position to be in.
