Fans react to Newcastle’s gutting loss to Watford

Newcastle United lost to Watford in the Barclays Premier League in Saturday for the third time in a row.

The Magpies have now been defeated by the Hornets by a single goal margin in their two league fixtures, as well as in one FA Cup tie.

Odion Ighalo opened the scoring for the home side, before defender Craig Cathcart doubled their lead after volley home a loose ball after a corner.

Jamaal Lascelles clawed one back for the away side with a powerful header following their own corner, after meeting it with such force that he needed 7 stitches in his mouth after the game.

It was another defeat where Newcastle had enough chances to score more than one goal. Ayoze Perez and Emmanual Riviere were guilty of missing good chances with their head, while the Toon build up play was good in parts.
