Karl Darlow

Karl Darlow was signed alongside Jamaal Lascelles from Nottingham Forest, but has yet to feature for the Magpies.

The goalkeeper suffered an injury that kept him from stepping into Tim Krul’s shoes when the Dutchman got injured, as has had to watch as Rob Elliot put in a number of impressive performances.

He will need to perform well in training and step up to the mark if he is to every challenge Elliot and Krul for the No.1 position.
