Newcastle United haven’t played since their 6-1 defeat away to Manchester City due to the international break.

A number of our lads are away with their countries, including key stars Tim Krul, Georginio Wijnaldum, Chancel Mbemba and Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Daryl Janmaat was supposed to join up with the Dutch squad, but injury ruled him out of their games.

Wijanldum enjoyed the most success out of the lot, as he scored an excellent long range goal on Saturday – while Krul was substituted due to a worrying knee injury.

We need them to be at their best when they return for crunch matches against Norwich City and Sunderland. Six points from those two games is a must if we are to avoid being dragged into a relegation dog fight.
