And, the name of that player is Goncalo Inacio. The Sporting centre-back is on the radar of multiple European clubs including Manchester United. Newcastle is struggling defensively. Botman and Burn have come out as the weak links in the defence of the Magpies. Goncalo Inaciao has looked strong and could be a great partner for someone like Fabian Schar who at times looked alone in the heart of Newcastle's defence. However, if Newcastle signs Inacio, it will be interesting to see whether he can become the perfect solution for Eddie Howe. So far, Inacio has done incredibly well with Sporting and the Magpies would hope he could continue playing like that if they get his signature.
