Coming on the back of a brilliant PL display against Manchester City much was expected for the Magpies club to get the complete 3 points against Everton. However, Eddie Howe's side was restricted to a frustrated goalless draw as the unit lacked proper finishing on the key chances in the opposition's final third.

Though the fixture proved to be a good one for a few Toon stars, it was a nightmare for the club's front three. With Harvey Barnes, one of the consistent performers this season, failing to create much impact, alongside Gordon, who once again was terrible against his former club, the side's lack of chance utilization halted them from the complete 3 points.
Recently, after the fixture, Club Captain Bruno Guimaraes shared a heartfelt message conveying what he felt in the game. While the number 6 star midfielder was once again brilliant, coming on the back of two beautiful performances against Wimbledon and Manchester City, the captain did look a bit worried about not going into the international break with a win.
Brazilian ace Bruno Guimaraes wrote,
"“Frustration to not get the 3 points.”"

Moreover, he thanked the club fans for supporting them as always and conveyed they would return stronger after the break. Guimaraes conveyed,
"“I think we deserved a win today. No time for regrets. We move on and see you after the international break. Once again, thank you for your support as always, NUFC fans.”"

Currently, with 12 points from the seven matchdays so far, the Magpies club finds themselves in the 6th position in PL. Though this is still a good start overall, the club going winless from the last three games definitely needs to get back on the winning ways as they return in the Premier League action. However, that may be aided significantly, considering their star forwards Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson are expected to be available soon.
As was the case against Everton, and so far in this season, the club hasn't been comfortable scoring goals from the front, and this issue could be much relieved as the two forwards return. Newcastle fans would hope that the side picks up their momentum back with the return of Isak in the lineup, as they contend for a top-4 PL finish this season.
