CM: Lewis Miley - 7.5/10. It was great to see the youngster play beyond the first half (unlike in the last Premier League game against Luton). It was another bright display from Miley, who was one of the only Newcastle players who can hold their head high after that performance.

CM: Bruno Guimaraes - 7/10. He had an exceptional first half and was one of the best players with the ball at his feet. Plenty of skilful touches and he gave us that attacking flair in the opposing half.

CM: Sean Longstaff - 6/10. He was involved in some good attacking play in the first half, but didn't stamp his authority on the game enough. Wasn't a bad display from Longstaff, but he is capable of better and we all know that.

SUB: Joelinton - 5/10. Was a nice moment to see Joelinton back from injury but truthfully, he didn't have enough of an impact to make it memorable return.
