Miguel Almiron - 7/10. I liked the performance put in by the Paraguayan international as he made plenty of meaningful runs and was involved in plenty of buildup play on the right-hand side of attack. This is the flank where Newcastle had the most luck in the match, with Almiron partly responsible.

Callum Wilson - 6/10. Had some good inputs in the match as he dropped deep to involve himself in buildup play. From a goal scoring perspective, though, he didn't put himself into the right positions.

Anthony Gordon - 6.5/10. Came off early in the second half as Howe wanted some direct options after Milan equalised. Certainly, the Englishman should be proud of his performance as he worked incredibly hard and got the crowd involved on a few occasions.

[SUB] Alexander Isak - 5.5/10. He was brought on to give Howe some much needed height in the box in pursuit of the winning goal. In the end, he didn't do much to impact the game.
