Newcastle team news
We have a few players nearing their return from injury but unfortunately, there are still a lot out with long-term issues. Thankfully for Eddie Howe, though, this is an opportunity to rotate his squad a little bit as we are the favourites to win this match - And I mean that as no disrespect to Everton, who always have a great atmosphere at their home ground.
Sandro Tonali is suspended while Sven Botman, Sean Longstaff, Matt Targett, Dan Burn, Joe Willock, Jacob Murphy, Harvey Barnes, Callum Wilson and Elliot Anderson all remain injured.
Unfortunately for Eddie Howe, one of his most important players has joined that concerning list of injured players, with Nick Pope coming off injured in our last match. His expected return date is April next year, so yet another long-term injury concern and perhaps more reason to spend in January.
Everton team news
Everton aren't without their injury concerns, but they boast a much less busy injury table than the visitors. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is a doubt (when isn't he?), Dele Alli could be ruled out and so too could Andre Gomes, with both midfielders facing a race against time for this one. Amadou Onana is confirmed to be ruled out of this game.

Everton vs Newcastle prediction
Losing Pope is a big blow for Eddie Howe, but he will still field a strong enough lineup to win this game. Given Everton's impressive form of late, it won't be an easy run for Newcastle. I expect yet another high scoring match, with this one finishing Everton 2-3 Newcastle.
