Newcastle are preparing to face Bournemouth in their second Premier League match. After a 1-0 win over Southampton, the Magpies are aiming to make it two wins in a row. Recently, former Newcastle striker, Alan Shearer predicted Eddie Howe's side to finish inside the top four in the league table to qualify for the UEFA Champions League as well.

Although, Bournemouth have sold their star forward Dominic Solanke for £65 million to Tottenham Hotspurs, they have been performing well against Newcastle United in the recent seasons. In the 2022/23 season, Bournemouth played two 1-1 draws against the Magpies in the Premier League. Last season, they took at 2-0 win in the first match and played a 2-2 draw with Eddie Howe's side in the second match.

Further, they have signed Porto forward Evanilson to replace Solanke. Hence, Newcastle will need a brilliant performance to win the match. Recently, Premier League analyst, Chris Sutton has predicted Newcastle to continue their winning momentum and take the three points. Speaking about the match, Sutton said,

"It will be interesting to see if Evanilson plays for Bournemouth, they have spent £40.2m on him. I am a big fan of Newcastle forward Alexander Isak and I think boss Eddie Howe will return to his old club and win it."
