Newcastle United are off to a brilliant start in the new Premier League campaign. Winning three games and playing a 1-1 draw, the Magpies club currently finds itself in a solid 3rd position on the PL table. Although it could be said that the performance of the club wasn't satisfactory till the international break, their recent dramatic win against Wolves is a strong statement of their never-giving-up attitude. Despite going a goal behind in the 36th minute, Howe's side returned stronger in the fixture, with 2 late strikes coming from Fabian Schar and Harvey Barnes.

Going down 1-0 in the first half and then winning it a clutch, the fixture against Wolves would be a great morale booster for the Magpies club. While several players played their part in the club's victory, here are the 3 Newcastle stars who stood out in the 2-1 win against Wolves:-

Harvey Barnes

Showing a glimpse of what he has in store for Newcastle fans during the preseason, Barnes has been living up to the expectations of the club in each fixture. Even though he hasn't gotten the starter role many times, the 26-year-old has been a major factor in the club's brilliant Premier League start.

In the fixture against Wolves, Eddie Howe brought him in the 46th minute for Newcastle star Alexander Isak, and what he does is drop a masterclass yet again. Barnes' substitution proved to be crucial from the result perspective as the Magpies' lineup started looking much more controlled with him. It was in the 80th minute that the star wing forward, dribbling through defenders, launched a banger, bagging the complete 3 points for his club.
