Newcastle United’s summer rebuild could include a clever trade as they look to inject more youth and dynamism into their attacking line.

With Champions League qualification still within reach and domestic silverware already secured, Eddie Howe and the recruitment team are focused on adding depth and future stars to the current squad.

The Magpies are expected to strengthen multiple areas this summer, but wide attacking positions have become a key priority. Injuries and fatigue have exposed a lack of options beyond the starting three in recent months.

While Anthony Gordon and Alexander Isak have delivered consistently, Newcastle need a third piece who can not only compete but grow into a long-term starter.

The club’s recruitment strategy, as shown in recent windows, has leaned toward young, high-upside talent with Premier League experience or strong domestic pedigree.

Now, according to the Chronicle, Newcastle have identified a fresh opportunity and the deal could involve an outgoing player as well.

Sources suggest the Magpies are open to including a senior left-back in negotiations to bring in a highly rated attacking talent.

That player, once a regular under Eddie Howe, has struggled for minutes this season and could be on his way out in order to sweeten the move.

The winger in question is a player seen as one of the brightest attacking prospects in the English game, someone currently too talented to remain in the Championship for long.

His technical quality, work ethic, and versatility in the final third have drawn comparisons with some of the league’s top young talents.

The move could be seen as a win-win, giving Newcastle a future star and offering their trade partner a reliable, experienced defender.

Tyler Dibling is the player at the centre of this potential deal. The 19-year-old Southampton winger has been outstanding this season and is attracting attention from several top-flight clubs.

With a valuation of up to £100 million, Newcastle may attempt to lower the fee by including Matt Targett in the negotiation.

Adding Dibling to a frontline that already features Isak and Gordon would give Newcastle one of the most exciting young attacking trios in the league.

The only question now is whether the Magpies can move fast enough to win the race.
