CM: Bruno Guimaraes – Bruno G is our biggest asset and given that the midfield battles will be important in this match, it wouldn’t be outlandish to say that Bruno G will have an excellent impact throughout this game. Look out for his physicality and ball retention.

CM: Sean Longstaff – Didn’t play at the weekend due to injury and he faces a race against time to be fit for this match, however my prediction (based on what multiple reports are saying) is that he will be fit to play. If he is fit, Howe needs to include Longstaff, who scored in the reverse fixture between the two sides.

CM: Joelinton – He missed the last match against PSG as he was still nursing his injury but now, he’s one of the few Newcastle midfielders who are actually able to play. Certainly, the Brazil international will look to provide some attacking firepower to this midfield trio, as he’ll be hungry to replicate the success which he missed last time out.
