Starting off between the sticks, there is only one choice. Nick Pope is the option for Eddie Howe between the sticks AND in the Champions League. Therefore, it will be a busy few days for the England shot-stopper after he was rested in the international break.

For this match, Tino Livramento will slot into the right-back position. Tino was used for the England U21 in the international break but thankfully he remained injury free since he is in good form for the Magpies.

It will be business as usual for the centre back pairing Fabian Schar and captain Jamaal Lascelles. Sven Botman is yet to return from injury but it won’t be too much of a concern to Howe since he has adequate backup in this position.

Moving to left-back to cover the injured Dan Burn, Kieran Trippier will get a start in this match. He played the full 90 in one of England’s matches but was rested in the most recent match, much to Eddie Howe’s delight.
