Newcastle transfer news – Barcelona set to propose Brazil swap deal
The first piece of Newcastle transfer news making the rounds today involves a player leaving, unfortunately for us. However, the power is in our hands, since the player in question has five more years remaining on his current deal.
If you haven’t already guessed, I am talking about the one and only Bruno Guimaraes. Since he is one of our best players and surely considered world-class by now, it’s no surprise to see massive teams like Barcelona wanting to sign him as according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are set to propose a potential swap deal to Newcastle which involves Bruno Guimaraes going to Spain and Raphinha coming to Newcastle.
Now, Raphinha does have Premier League experience but this move makes no sense for us. We have been linked with the Brazil winger before but we wouldn’t voluntarily lose out on our best player to get him. Try another method, Barca.
Newcastle transfer news – Eddie Howe could sign Anthony Gordon’s backup
According to a report by Football FanCast, Eddie Howe could soon sign a perfect backup option to Anthony Gordon who has a similar playing style to Bukayo Saka. The player in question is Nico Williams, who is also a target of Barcelona (ironically, which is why they could be looking to get rid of Raphinha).
Newcastle transfer news – Tino Livramento loves it in Newcastle
One player who has really broke onto the scene as of late is new signing Tino Livramento. The 21-year-old who has been getting plenty of game time in recent weeks has spoken out on his decision to sign at St James Park.
As per Geordie Boot Boys, the defender is loving life in Newcastle, claiming that the city is great and that fans of the club treat him with respect and like a member of their family when they see him in public. Best fanbase in the world.
