Sweden – Emil Krafth

Emil Krafth has unfortunately missed most of this season for Newcastle, however, since his return from injury he has had some good moments under Eddie Howe. The international break could be a real boost for his match fitness as the beloved Newcastle star is a fan favourite in Sweden.

His country have selected him but not his Newcastle counterpart Alexander Isak, who is still nearing his return to full match fitness. Krafth has the potential to play in two fixtures for Sweden, both of which make for an interesting encounter.

First, Sweden will face Azerbaijan away from home before hosting Estonia at the Friends Arena.

Scotland – Jude Smith

The development team will be keeping an eye on the young Newcastle goalkeeper Jude Smith, who has been given an opportunity to represent the Scotland U21 side. Jude Smith is the second of two Newcastle goalkeepers playing in the international break this November.

Smith plays in two fixtures for the Scotland U21 in their bid to qualify for the U21 EURO 2025. Of the two fixtures, Smith could play in either Belgium U21 away, Hungary U21 away, or both.
