RW: Miguel Almiron. Been in good goal scoring form recently and with the Jacob Murphy injury dilemma, I don’t think I’m going out on a limb by saying Eddie Howe will choose Almiron over Ritchie.

CF: Callum Wilson. Certainly an injury risk, but it’s a risk Howe will be willing to make. He didn’t play the full ninety at the weekend, so I expect that he was in mind to start this game. Wilson would like to get off the mark in the Champions League, so away at Dortmund would be the perfect time and place to do that.

LW: Anthony Gordon. Got the important goal at the weekend and has put in some good performances in the Champions League this season. His workrate will be appreciated in a game like this.

Newcastle predicted lineup vs Dortmund: Pope; Livramento, Schar, Lascelles (c), Trippier; Guimaraes, Longstaff, Willock; Almiron, Gordon, Wilson
