Eddie Howe’s men will travel to Germany for the fourth Champions League match. Here’s the Newcastle predicted lineup vs Dortmund.

Newcastle face Dortmund for the second consecutive Champions League game. However, this time around, Eddie Howe will need a win away from home to accelerate his chances of progressing to the knockout stages.

That said, here’s the Newcastle predicted lineup vs Dortmund.

Newcastle predicted lineup vs Dortmund in the Champions League

GK: Nick Pope. Seems like the obvious choice. He’s played every minute of Champions League action so far, that won’t change.

RB: Tino Livramento. At face value it seems like this is a forced move from Eddie Howe but in truth, Tino has been knocking on the door for a place in the starting eleven for some time now. The Dan Burn injury has just accelerated his opportunity.

CB: Fabian Schar. Been a standout performer in the Champions League so far and he’ll look to make an impression once again.

CB: Jamaal Lascelles. With the Sven Botman injury, Lascelles has really stepped up to the mark and proven why he’s the captain. He will make another Champions League start in this match.

LB: Kieran Trippier. Trippier’s versatility will prove to be handy, as Livramento is best utilised on the right. At left-back, though, Trippier’s creativity and defensive ability will still be valuable to Newcastle.
