CM: Sean Longstaff. Played the entire match in midweek but he’ll probably be ready to run a marathon the morning after. Longstaff has been one of out most important players this season, so I fully expect him to start against Arsenal.
CM: Bruno Guimaraes. Bruno came off the bench in midweek but the fact that he didn’t start suggests Eddie Howe has him in mind for this game. It was a wise choice to rest his best players as given the injury crisis and the Sandro Tonali situation, Bruno’s involvement in the midfield is all the more important.
CM: Joelinton. Returning to his more natural position, Joelinton should start in this match ahead of Joe Willock. Although the former Arsenal man got a goal in midweek, he looked rusty throughout, so throwing him in the deep end in an important fixture like this isn’t wise. Joelinton is the better choice.
These guys were excellent last night. Great to have Joe Willock back, Joelinton was a man mountain yesterday and our future looks bright with Livramento and Hall as our back up full backs. #nufc pic.twitter.com/IVbcSMzBoq
