Matt Targett was subbed off in only 90 seconds of action following a hamstring injury at the start of November 2023. It was an EFL Cup fixture against Man United, which the Magpies eventually went on to win by a scoreline of 3-0.
Newcastle have a tough run of fixtures coming up, so we wish Matt Targett a speedy recovery. Particularly given his hamstring problems in the past, the medical team will work closely with the player to ensure he returns to action in the right manner.
