Newcastle player ratings vs Man United: Joe Willock back with a bang!

RW: Matt Ritchie – 6/10. His first start of the season was met with some criticism online, but he did nothing to tarnish his reputation. Nothing special either, mind.
- SUB: Kieran Trippier – 5.5/10. To sub off Ritchie for England’s best full-back was quite a feeling. He definitely tightened the bolts at the back for Eddie Howe during a time of need.
CF: Joelinton – 7/10. Excellent goal contribution as he made a fool of Sofyan Amrabat to dispossess him, before laying it off to Willock who did the rest. A good display from Joelinton.
Alot of brilliant performances tonight, but Joelinton has been utterly superb. Been below his high standards recently, so hopefully, it will be a real return to form.

LW: Anthony Gordon – 6.5/10. Put in a shift tonight but was rightly subbed off for Wilson. Solid display, Gordon.
- SUB: Callum Wilson – 5.5/10. Our player of the month for October came off the bench and by the work of some miracle, remained injury free. That alone justifies a 10/10 performance.
