CM: Joe Willock – 7/10. In his first start of the season, Joe Willock put in a great display and got a goal as his reward. He was subbed off in the second half, probably due to the heavy fixtures coming up. Rusty at times, but this is to expected for a player who has only just returned from injury.
- SUB: Bruno Guimaraes – 6/10. The best player named Bruno on the pitch. He actually had a very good cameo, getting involved in the midfield.
CM: Sean Longstaff – 7.5/10. Yet again, another good performance from Mr Reliable. He truly is underrated, but we love it.
CM: Lewis Hall – 7.5/10. Scored the second goal for the Magpies and was subbed off in the second half. Overall, an assured display in midfield with a lot of play running through him.
- SUB: Dan Burn – 5.5/10. BDB provided some defensive stability in the last fifteen minutes.
