CM: Sean Longstaff. Longstaff got his goal in mid week and what a moment it was for him. As someone who lives and breathes the club, he won’t get too carried out. He’s confident in his own ability so he’ll know that he’s more than likely to start, so it’ll be another day at the office from the midfielder who keeps on improving.

CM: Sandro Tonali. I would say I was surprised by how well the Italian played against PSG, but then again, this is exactly why he signed him. After a slight dip in form, Tonali looks to be back to his best and so therefore, should definitely start in this important Premier League match.

CM: Bruno Guimaraes. What a sensational display the Brazilian put in against PSG. In my Newcastle player ratings in mid week, it was Bruno who picked up man of the match. He bossed that midfield just like he usually does. As our best player, he will be the first name on the team sheet against West Ham.
