Fabrizio Romano has some excellent news for us, Newcastle fans! According to the transfer expert, an in-house deal has been struck with a world-class midfielder.

A lot of things seem to be going right at Newcastle right now. We are fresh off the face of two positive away results which included a draw at clean sheet against AC Milan and a stunning 8-0 battering against Sheffield United. Finally, the positive spirits from last season have returned. Indeed, there are plenty of good reasons for the players to be excited for the season ahead.

According to a new update from Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle United fans should celebrate even more. The transfer expert has claimed that a new deal with Bruno Guimaraes has been agreed. It will be signed within the new next few days or weeks and includes a release clause of around £100m.

Of course, the release clause is a bit sketchy. In my opinion, there could be some clubs in Europe who would be willing to pay that for a player of Bruno’s quality. But either way, this is above what he’s currently worth and signing a new deal is NEVER a bad thing.

Bruno was one of the goal scorers in that incredible 8-0 display. In his celebration which he dedicated to his beloved child, he seemed to indicate that he was at Newcastle to stay. This obviously went down well with the fans and if the Romano news rings true, then the party will continue among the fanbase.
